While many RV parks are located on lakeshores, Pleasant lake has a full 25-acre private lake at the center of our park. Take the one-mile stroll along the water’s edge for some spectacular viewing of birds and other wildlife found only in Florida. Make use of our boat launch to go sailing and freshwater fishing, or cast your lines from our beautiful deck. You can also enjoy a pleasant afternoon cooking out with your personal grill at one of our many shore-side picnic tables.
The fun continues off the lake on our bocce ball and shuffleboard courts, at our horseshoe pits and in our heated swimming pool. Our spacious clubhouse features a full kitchen, a billiards room and a library. During the high season our clubhouse becomes a whirlwind of activities like bingo, Bible studies, potlucks, shows, game nights and ice cream socials. Our social calendar also include a number of classes and clubs, including line-dancing, basket weaving, water aerobics and a miniature boat club.
Comfort and convenience are a top priority at Pleasant Lake. Our 340 full-hookup sites have cable TV and Wi-Fi available. The park grounds also feature two bathhouses and two laundry facilities no further than a half-mile every site.
Located within Bradenton and less than 15 miles from the heart of Sarasota, there’s no shortage of off-site attractions to keep our guests entertained. Spend a day relaxing at Bradenton Beach or get adventurous with a visit to Beach Horses - the only place in the world you can go horse surfing. Down in Sarasota, our guests have amusements and attractions to suit any taste - including museums, art galleries, top-notch shopping, sports arenas, delicious dining, scuba diving and so much more.
