A classic Christmas

Many of our winter residents come to catch the warm rays our Florida sun has to offer. And even though the weather is always nice here at Riptide RV Resort, we still celebrate the holidays in a big way.

The Key Players Community Theater group will host A Taffeta Christmas, a musical production with classical Christmas songs channeling the McGuire sisters, Fontane sisters and the Chordettes. Relive the sounds of the 1950s with this nostialgic and delightful performance, running through December 17.

This event will take place at the Murray E. Nelson Government and Cultural Center in Key Largo, MM 102. Tickets are $15 in advance, and the show starts at 8 p.m. this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

And be sure to stay in the Florida Keys at least until New Year’s Eve. There will be a fireworks show on Blackwater Sound at MM 104. You will be able to view the show at several restaurants near the Sound if you’d like to have dinner as well.

Reserve your RV site at Riptide RV if you haven’t already and celebrate the holidays Key Largo style!
