Racetrack Plans to Open in the Fall
Car racing fans get ready. A major car racing track, Circuit of the Americas, is currently being constructed in Austin and plans to open this fall. As it will be a convenient distance from Austin Lone Star RV Resort, our residents will have a new entertainment option that promises high-pitched levels of excitement.
On November 18th, over 520 million car racing enthusiasts from around the globe will watch to see who will win the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. The circuit is one of only a few on the 2012 schedule that will operate in a counter-clockwise direction. This feature will involve more left-hand turns than right-hand ones, thus creating greater physical demands on the drivers.
